"The Law Office of Guy A. Leemhuis has been representing families for 25 years. Guy Leemhuis is an experienced litigator and has represented hundreds of individuals in various family law and probate matters, particularly guardianships and conservatorships, dependency and special education cases.

He is fluent in both English and Spanish and has represented hundreds of Spanish speaking families and individuals.

He has 25 years experience advocating for families within the special education system and has successfully obtained services and appropriate placements for children with disabilities throughout southern California.

Mr. Leemhuis has also successfully defended parents in dependency cases seeking the termination of their parental rights, preventing the state from taking away their children. Mr. Leemhuis has served as a court appointed attorney throughout Los Angeles County representing minors in high conflict divorce cases as well as contested guardianship matters regarding custody and visitation. He has been a trainer at a number of annual Minor’s counsel trainings conducted by the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has presented on education topics at local bar associations in the state. He has also been appointed to represent hundreds of proposed conservatees in conservatorship matters.

 

Mr. Leemhuis also has successfully represented numbers of individuals in both guardianship and conservatorship matters.
